I know it has been a long while since, I last posted. TakeYourPics.com had a very busy 2013 year. No worries we did not close. Below are a few spotlighted portraits from 2013.

10/21/12- Fall Portraits
We head to the Dallas Arboretum to take portraits of Mr. "P" and Parents in the pumpkin patch. It was a nice day and we got to see the bonus Glass Statues through out the gardens.

Summary of Work - January thru April
My husband and I decided at the start of 2009 that we would make a go at Wedding Photography. We have taken previous photographs of our family and friends' weddings and loved doing it. To get our name out there we posted a free wedding package listing on Craig's List, and was able to get a couple of responses before being flagged.
3/17/09- Sheri and Duffy
Sheri and Duffy responded to our free add on Craig's List. Come to find out we were neighbors at one time, and lived across the street from each other. They had a Irish Theme wedding, there colors were green and white, and wed on St. Patrick's Day. Sheri was a beaming bride; she had a smile on her face the entire day. It was a beautiful ceremony that took place at White Chapel Estates & Garden.

3/19/09 -Family Fishing Trip
My family had a week long fishing trip at Lake Somerville this year. It was the first time my parents, brothers, and I have been all together without the spouses and kids. We got up and were on shores of the lake ready to fish before sunrise and left right before sunset. It was peaceful, exciting, and fun. I hope we do it again next year.

4/4/09- Frankie & Jerry
We headed east to Springfield, TX to photograph Frankie & Jerry on their wedding day. The ceremony took place on their gorgeous land in front of a small lake. They were a lot of fun to photograph. The wind would die down just long enough for us to get so great portraits.

4/19/09- Jennifer & Bryan
We were honored with being able to celebrate with Jennifer & Bryan on their wedding day. The ceremony took place at The Dallas Arboretum at the top of a hill, overlooking a lake. They were such good spots going all over the garden and taking portraits at a dozen different spots.
